Children's Ministry

From preschool to high school and beyond, we understand the importance of providing an atmosphere for like-minded individuals to come together in the name of Jesus Christ.

Metropolitan Baptist Church has Sunday school all year round. We conduct classes for children of all ages, from 3-year olds to adults. Nursery is available as well. Sunday school begins at 9:45 AM. (Check calendar for No Sunday School on Holiday weekends)

AWANA Club

We have AWANA club from 6:25 PM - 8:10PM (Puggles are done at 7:30pm) on Wednesday nights during the school year - see the calendar for exceptions. The AWANA check-in period is between 6:00 PM and 6:25 PM.

AWANA is an international, Bible-centered children’s and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs and training for students in preschool, ages 2 and up, through high school. Our goal is to equip churches to reach children and teenagers, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
